Another warlock deleted. This one was halfway through level 4. But I took six points of damage from a Feral Tender (level 3) during the quest Aggression in the Blood Elf starting area.
I had both my dots up on him, and if I'd simply run away, he would have died before reaching me.
Lesson learned. Shadow Bolt is not as important as running away.
